Students of the BN Technology Department Undertake Scientific Excursion
Udaipur: Students from the Technology Department of the Faculty of Science at Bhupal Nobles University participated in a one-day scientific excursion. During the excursion, they collected samples of water, soil, and other environmental factors at the Baghdara Crocodile Conservation Park.
Under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Renu Rathore, and the Associate Dean, Dr. Ritu Tomar, the excursion was a success. Active participation came from students of B.Sc. Biotechnology (V Semester), M.Sc. Biotechnology (I and III Semesters), and M.Sc. Microbiology (I Semester). The aim of the excursion was to provide students with an opportunity to enhance their interest in scientific research and innovation.
The students collected various soil and water samples during the excursion. Faculty members Dr. Vipin Nagda, Dr. Tanvi Agarwal, and Krishnavir Singh Jhala accompanied the students and supervised the sample collection. Additionally, the Head of the Department, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, informed the students about the adverse environmental impacts caused by over-industrialization.
The students thoroughly enjoyed this informative research trip and expressed their happiness at the experience.
