Bhilwara: Like every year, Sangam University is organizing the *Jugaad Mela - Innovation the Indian Way* this year as well. The event will feature a one-day science model competition, *Jugaad Mela: Waste to Test*, aimed at encouraging young talents in the field of science. The event will be jointly organized by Vigyan Bharati and Sangam University, Bhilwara, and is scheduled to take place on January 17, 2025, Friday.
University Vice Chancellor, Professor Karunesh Saxena, stated that the *Jugaad Mela* is being organized to encourage students' interest in science and technology, which will further inspire their academic activities.
Dr. Amit Jain, Marketing Head, informed that students from class 9 to 12 of government, private schools, and ITI institutions will be eligible to participate in the competition. Each institution can send a maximum of two teams, and each team can have one student working on a single project.
Registrar Professor Rajeev Mehta mentioned that all preparations for the *Jugaad Mela* have been completed. University Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, stated that government and private schools, as well as ITI institutions, can register their students for participation in the *Jugaad Mela* until January 10, 2025. After this date, no further applications will be considered.
