Badminton Tournament Concludes
Udaipur: The badminton tournament organized at Vidya Bhavan Govindram Sekseria Teacher Training College concluded on Thursday. On the occasion of the closing ceremony, the college's former principal, Prof. M.P. Sharma, Prof. Sushma Telesara, and Suyash Chaturvedi highlighted the importance of physical and mental health through sports, as well as other aspects, and encouraged the players. Principal Dr. Farzana shared her thoughts on mutual cooperation and team spirit during the tournament.
Dr. Farzana mentioned that a total of 17 female and 57 male participants enrolled in the 20-day-long competition, with about 3-4 matches held daily. A total of 73 matches were played during the tournament. In the women's category, Reena Kharadi secured first place, Divya Tank was second, and Suman Chaudhary finished third. In the men's category, Salim Mansoori took first place, Setharam was second, and Pushkar Meghwal came in third. The winners were awarded prizes by the guests.
