Professor America Singh, former Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, was warmly welcomed by students and prominent members of society upon his arrival in Udaipur this morning. During his tenure at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Professor Singh received the Chancellor’s Award for his outstanding contributions.
Notable achievements during his leadership include the construction of the grand main gate, India’s first Constitution Park, and the Constitution Pillar, all funded through CSR during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also initiated courses in Architecture, Engineering, and RCI at the university. Additionally, he modernized departments like Fashion Technology, Social Work, and set a record by organizing 151 webinars in a single day.
Professor Singh also played a key role in connecting 155 institutions across the country under the name of Rana Pratap, as well as contributed ₹1.11 crore to the state government during the pandemic from internal university sources. He also ensured the regularization of 102 university teachers in a single day and established a policy to ensure full payment to retiring employees on their retirement day.
Currently, Professor Singh is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific, where his work is highly praised.
