Save Nature and Cow Mother by Stopping the Use of Plastic and Disposable Items, and Plant More Trees : Minister Madan Dilawar

Kota: The Swami Vivekananda Vichar Sansthan celebrated Youth Day on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. The President of the institution, Giriraj Gupta, mentioned that on this occasion, 162 large plants were planted on the forest department's land in the Karneshwar area behind the Truck Union.

A ceremony was also organized for the occasion.
In the beginning, Giriraj Gupta, President of the Swami Vivekananda Vichar Sansthan, mentioned that approximately 500 plants had been planted six months ago in July. He further stated that 162 plants were planted today to mark the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. For this, a trench of one meter width and one meter depth was dug, and the institution will ensure full care of these plants.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar, emphasized that both the Earth and the cow are our mothers. He stated that by using plastic bags and disposable items, we unknowingly commit sins. He pointed out that due to plastic, we and our children are suffering from incurable diseases like cancer. The use of chemicals and pesticides in fields is making the earth barren, and to save it, cow dung is essential, which comes from cows, and therefore we must protect them. He stressed the need to re-establish the tradition of having shepherds to graze cows in villages. He also mentioned that our state should have 472 trees per person, but currently, there are only 20 trees per person. He urged the public to plant more trees and also called for creating utensil banks to eliminate the use of disposables.

The program was chaired by Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma, who appreciated the Swami Vivekananda Vichar Sansthan's commitment and campaign to plant and take care of more trees.
Special Guest, Ladpura MLA Mrs. Kalpana Devi, stated that Swami Vivekananda's thoughts are still relevant today.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including BJP leader Khandelwal, Suresh Mittal, environmentalist Brijesh Vijayvargiya, educationist Prakash Jaiswal, Lalit Sharma, and a large number of people.
