Banwari Yaduvanshi: Pioneer of Kota Chambal Safari and Wildlife Conservationist

Banwari Yaduvanshi, a multifaceted personality, the pride of Hadauti, and a wildlife and environmental protector, is known as the founder of the Kota Chambal Safari. His tireless efforts in preserving wildlife and nature around the Chambal river and forests have offered new avenues for tourists in Kota.

While working as a journalist, Banwari became deeply involved in the study of wildlife after being inspired by the late Jyoti Pathak. His efforts led to the establishment of motorboat safaris and small cruises along the Chambal, providing tourists with incredible experiences.

Today, tourists visiting Kota’s Kishorsagar Lake can enjoy breathtaking views of the historical Jagmandir, along with sightings of crocodiles, gharials, and other wildlife. Banwari Yaduvanshi’s initiatives have also played a significant role in wildlife conservation and improving environmental balance through continuous research and efforts to engage with government systems.

During the Uttarakhand tragedy, Banwari actively participated in rescue operations and saved lives. His family is also dedicated to this cause, working alongside him to ensure the protection of wildlife. Banwari Yaduvanshi’s contribution to wildlife conservation is invaluable, not just for Kota but for the entire Hadauti region.
