Udaipur: North Western Railway is hosting a two-day Traffic Inspection Accounts (TIA) Conference on January 16-17, 2025, at the Regional Railway Training Institute, Udaipur.
Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, Captain Shashi Kiran, informed that the conference includes 44 TIAs from North Western Railway and six other regional railways: Northern Railway, Western Railway, West Central Railway, Southern Railway, South Central Railway, and Central Railway.
The conference, organized under the leadership of Chief Financial Advisor Geetika Pandey, was inaugurated in the presence of Geetika Pandey, Principal of the Regional Training Institute Udaipur, Jaiprakash, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer Nishtha Puri, and Deputy Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer Ashok Kumar Meena.
The event aims to foster experience-sharing among regional railways and address key issues like traffic account policies, identifying gaps in policy implementation, and improving cash remittance procedures. Sessions will also focus on recent advancements like e-TR (Electronic Treasury Remittance) and TAMS (Traffic Accounts Management System).
