Drone Show to Illuminate the Sky on the Eve of Republic Day

Udaipur: The state-level Republic Day celebrations in Udaipur, marking the national festival, will showcase the cultural magnificence of Mewar and Rajputana, the patriotism that runs through Mewar's air, and the military valor of the Indian Army. On the eve of Republic Day, a drone show at Fatehsagar’s Pal will be the main attraction, filling the area with a rainbow of colors. Additionally, a horse riding show will be a major point of interest for children. Under the direction of Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani and District Collector Arvind Poswal, preparations for the state-level ceremony are progressing at full speed.

Since Udaipur was chosen to host the state-level Republic Day ceremony, the team of officials and employees, under the district administration's guidance, has been meticulously planning and finalizing preparations to ensure the event is conducted with dignity and in an unprecedented manner. The state-level Republic Day ceremony is scheduled for 26th January at Gandhi Ground, where the Honorable Chief Minister, Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, will be present along with the Honorable Governor, Shri Haribhao Kishanrao Bagde, who will hoist the national flag. Before this, on 25th January, an At-Home event will take place at Saheliyon Ki Bari at 4:00 PM, followed by a cultural evening at Fatehsagar's Pal at 6:00 PM.

**Drone Show and Army Weaponry Exhibition to Be Key Attractions**

District Collector Arvind Poswal mentioned that extensive preparations are underway to make the Republic Day celebrations historic. On 25th January, during the proposed cultural evening at Fatehsagar’s Pal, folk artists will present performances reflecting Rajasthan's cultural heritage. A drone show, costing 50 lakhs, will also be held at Fatehsagar’s Pal, alongside an exhibition of weapons by the Indian Army. The horse riding show and a flower exhibition will also be major attractions for the public.

**Tableaux Showcasing Developed Rajasthan**

The main Republic Day ceremony will feature tableaux from various departments, divisional headquarters, and selected districts. These tableaux will display the significant achievements attained over the past year, as well as ongoing efforts to fulfill the vision of a developed Rajasthan. Additionally, the tableaux from different regions and districts will highlight cultural pride, historical heritage, and regional specialties.

**City of Lakes Ready for the Celebrations**

There is a noticeable enthusiasm in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, as it prepares to host the state-level Republic Day ceremony. Special decorations with colorful lighting and flowers are being set up at prominent locations and intersections across the city. The public is also excited about the upcoming celebrations.

**District Collector Reviews Preparations**

District Collector, Shri Poswal, has been present at Gandhi Ground since Monday morning, overseeing the rehearsals for the march-past, physical training, and cultural performances. He also reviewed the arrangements for the arrival of VIPs, seating, flag hoisting, and the tableaux display, providing necessary directions for the event.
