Freedom Fighters Honored on Their Death Anniversaries

Udaipur, On the death anniversaries of the great freedom fighter and leader of the Bijolia Farmers' Movement, Manikya Lal Verma, and the compassionate savior of the poor, Parsaram Trivedi, floral tributes were offered at their memorial site in Ashok Nagar on Friday. The event was led by Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and spokesperson, Pankaj Kumar Sharma.

While paying homage, Sharma described Manikya Lal Verma as a symbol of social justice and a former president of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. He highlighted Verma’s unwavering dedication to farmers' welfare, emphasizing his role in their struggles and movements. Sharma further noted Verma's invaluable contributions to strengthening the Congress Party and how his ideals and sacrifices continue to inspire generations.

Prominent attendees included Jagdish Shrimali, Chandrakanta Trivedi, Akshita Trivedi, Mohan Giri Goswami, Hemant Trivedi, Sandhya Trivedi, Vidhu Shekhar Trivedi, Himangini Trivedi, Vineet Bhatnagar, Dipesh Kumawat, Bharat Meena, and several other dignitaries.
