Preparations Underway for School Cricket Championship in Udaipur

Udaipur, A meeting to finalize preparations for the upcoming SGFI National Cricket Championship for 19-year-old schoolgirls, being held for the first time in Udaipur, was convened on Friday. The meeting, chaired by District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Lokesh Bharti, took place at PM Shree Fateh Senior Secondary School and was attended by principals, teachers, and physical education instructors involved in the event.

District Education Officer Lokesh Bharti reviewed the work done by various committees formed for the successful organization of the championship and directed them to complete the remaining tasks on time. Additional District Education Officer Murlidhar Choubisa informed that the championship will be held from January 29 to February 3 across various cricket grounds in the city, with 22 teams from different states already registered on the SGFI sports portal.

Deputy District Education Officer Laxman Lal Salvi stated that bookings for six cricket grounds in the city have been completed. Jhadol C.B.E.O. Pawan Kumar Rawal instructed all personnel involved to ensure their full cooperation and commitment to making the event memorable.

Event Secretary and Principal of Mahatma Gandhi School, Sundarwas, Ashutosh Tuli, shared that transportation arrangements, including bus bookings, and accommodation arrangements, including hotel bookings, have been finalized under the guidance of senior officials. Principal Sanjay Kumar Badala, a member of the Finance and General Administration Committee, and Senior Physical Education Instructor Vijay Singh Rawat expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made so far.
