Neerja Modi Carnival's Last Day: A Huge Crowd of City Dwellers Attends

Udaipur: The two-day "The Timeless India Carnival" began at Neerja Modi School, featuring fun-filled activities and knowledge-enhancing events for children. The event was inaugurated by the school's founder, Prof. Ranjit Singh Sojatia, along with Chairman Dr. Mahendra Sojatia, school director Reena Sojatia, Principal Sakshi Sojatia, and Advisor Shubha Govil.  

The carnival showcased various aspects of Indian culture and development. In the Art Temple, different Indian dance forms were performed, and in the Gurukul section, children were introduced to ancient educational methods. The "Poet and Author" section familiarized children with famous Indian poets and authors, while the "Folk Tales" segment presented Indian literature in an engaging manner. The "Swarlay" section taught children about various musical instruments. The "Ancient Indian Civilization" exhibit introduced children to the Indus Valley Civilization and ancient tools, while "Indian Railway" presented a live display of an Indian railway platform. The "Indian Brands and Industrialization" section showcased modern India through displays of banks, malls, and more. In "Jewelry and Attire," different types of jewelry and garments were displayed, and the "Festival Fiesta" presented beautiful tableaux of famous Indian festivals.  

The "Indian Scientist" exhibit introduced children to prominent Indian scientists, along with intriguing scientific activities. The food festival, organized for children and parents, offered delicious dishes from Rajasthan, Punjab, South India, and Indian street food, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. The carnival also had camel riding, toy trains, and various rides that the children relished.  

Chairman Dr. Mahendra Sojatia mentioned that "The Timeless India" is an educational carnival designed to acquaint the current generation with our country's ancient traditions, civilization, and the developments from independence to the present. He emphasized that all children in the city should benefit from it and stated that the school will continue to organize such events in the future.  

Director Sakshi Sojatia shared that the carnival's goal is to foster experiential learning among children, helping them connect with Indian society, culture, and history, while respecting and preserving the unity and diversity of our heritage. She assured that Neerja Modi School will continue to make efforts in this direction.  

The carnival was a huge success, with a large turnout of parents and children, and will continue on Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
