Udaipur: The Maharana Pratap Senior Citizens Institute, Udaipur, is hosting a two-day national conference of the All India Senior Citizens’ Confederation on February 22-23 at the Vivekananda Auditorium, MLSU.
Confederation Vice President Bhawar Seth announced that the event will be inaugurated with a flag hoisting ceremony led by National President V.K. Bhadne. The oath-taking of the executive committee will follow, with Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished attendees include Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, National President V.K. Bhadne, Vice President Anna Sahab Takle, Institute President Chausarlal Kachhara, and Associate Dean Dr. Shilpa Seth from the University College of Law.
The conference will feature six technical sessions, addressing key concerns for senior citizens. Topics will include wellness strategies for the elderly, innovative treatments for age-related ailments, robotic knee replacement by Dr. Ashish Singhal, cyber security insights by Nilesh Nalwaya, and legal perspectives from high court and Supreme Court advocates.
A pre-conference meeting of ISKCON’s National Committee discussed strengthening its constitution and expanding its national initiatives. The conference aims to address senior citizens’ rights, government welfare schemes, and solutions for their challenges.
