Udaipur: District Collector Namit Mehta held a weekly review meeting with district-level officials of various departments at the District Council Hall on Friday. During the meeting, he emphasized that departmental targets must be achieved on time, and special attention should be given to resolving issues raised on the contact portal with quality solutions. He further mentioned that timely resolution of issues would provide significant relief to the general public. He instructed all district-level officials to monitor the contact portal at their level.
During the review of the Registration and Stamps Department, the Collector directed that there should be a noticeable increase in revenue collection. He also reviewed the progress of various DBT schemes under the Agriculture Department, such as farm ponds, pipelines, and fencing, and gave necessary instructions for their better implementation.
He advised the Horticulture Department officials to prepare a special nursery for the improved varieties of custard apples in the district so that local farmers could benefit from it. The Collector also sought information from the Pollution Control Board officers about the ongoing activities for preventing sound and air pollution in the district and issued the necessary directions.
Furthermore, during the review of departments like Cooperation, RNT Medical College, Higher Education, and Minority Affairs, he emphasized that the progress of key and flagship schemes in the district should be satisfactory.
The meeting was attended by ADM (Administration) Deepender Singh Rathore, District Council CEO Riya Dabi, Girwa Sub-Divisional Officer Sonika Kumari, and district-level officers from various departments.
