Udaipur – The West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, is set to host a three-day cultural festival, ‘Ritu Vasant,’ from February 28 to March 2 at Shilpgram. Organized to celebrate the arrival of spring, this grand event will feature mesmerizing performances by renowned artists of Indian classical music and dance.
According to Furqan Khan, Director of the West Zone Cultural Centre, the event will be held daily at 7 PM at the open-air amphitheater, with free entry for the public.
🎶 Event Highlights:
📌 Day 1 (February 28) –
- Pt. Rajendra Vaishnav, a renowned classical singer from Jodhpur, will present a soulful musical performance.
- This will be followed by an enchanting Kathak dance performance by Pune’s celebrated artist, Shama Bhate, and her troupe.
📌 Day 2 (February 29) –
- Dr. Pravin Gaonkar, a well-known classical singer from Goa, will perform, accompanied by Rohidas Parab on tabla, Subhash Fateparkar on harmonium, and Wasim Khan on sarangi.
- Later, Amit Gangani and his group will showcase an enthralling Kathak performance.
📌 Day 3 (March 2) –
- Jaipur’s renowned vocalist Mohd. Aman Khan will present a classical singing performance.
- This will be followed by a Bharatanatyam dance performance by the eminent Delhi-based dancer, Kanak Sudhakar, and her troupe.
