Udaipur: The Women’s Cell of the Pacific School of Law, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education at Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, organized a one-day workshop on sustainable development goals related to women and gender issues. The workshop primarily focused on gender inequality and necessary reforms.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. K.S. Vyas, Dean, Faculty of Education. This was followed by an inaugural speech by Prof. B.P. Sharma, Group President, Pacific Group of Institutions, and a presidential address by Prof. Hemant Kothari, President, Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University.
The first session featured discussions on gender equality and sustainable development goals, with Prof. Vijayalakshmi Chauhan, former Director, UGC Center for Women Studies, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, as the keynote speaker. The second session focused on child protection and social inclusion, where Mrs. Sindhu Binujeeth, Divisional Consultant, Child Protection, UNICEF India, Udaipur Division, shared her insights.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Dr. Pushpa Mehdu, Principal, Pacific School of Law, delivered the vote of thanks. The event was moderated by Mrs. Kripa Jain, Assistant Professor, Pacific School of Law, while Dr. Ratna Sisodia, Associate Professor, Pacific School of Law, coordinated the workshop.
The workshop was attended by faculty members from the Pacific School of Law and the Faculty of Education, including Dr. Hemant Pandya, Principal, College of Physical Education, and Dr. Kapilesh Tiwari, Principal, College of Teachers Education.
