National Conference on Breast Cancer Awareness and Latest Treatment Innovations Successfully Organized
Experts Emphasize Screening & Advanced Surgical Techniques on International Women’s Day
The joint national conference of the Breast Cancer Association of India and the Association of Medical Updates was successfully held at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur, on March 7-8, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Geetanjali Group's Executive Director, Mr. Ankit Agarwal.
Over 300 cancer specialists from across the country discussed the rising cases of breast cancer, oncoplastic surgery, screening techniques, and the latest treatment advancements. Live broadcasts of operative procedures provided valuable insights to local specialists and patients.
A special debate on March 8, International Women’s Day, focused on breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. Experts highlighted how Geetanjali Cancer Center’s world-class technologies are enhancing treatment facilities for patients in Udaipur and nearby regions.
The conference was successfully led by Organizing Chairperson Dr. Garima Mehta and Organizing Secretary Dr. Ashish Jakhetia. This event marked a significant step in adopting innovations in breast cancer treatment and raising awareness in the medical community.
