Sarthi Shakti Honored on International Women's Day

Udaipur: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Transport Department, in collaboration with the Aadhar Foundation, organized an innovative program on the theme of “Road Safety, Life Protection.” The event was highlighted by the formation of a new club named *Sadak Suraksha Sakhi*, where 10 selected female students will visit villages to form road safety clubs and conduct training sessions. The initiative aims to reduce accident rates by organizing awareness programs in villages and schools after providing proper training.
Regional Transport Officer Gyandev Vishwakarma emphasized the importance of the program and its utility. Narayan Chaudhary of Aadhar Foundation explained that the primary goal of the initiative is to socially recognize drivers, raise awareness, and encourage them to secure insurance for their families' safety. Advocate Manish Sharma discussed the Motor Vehicle Act, and Jagdish Yadav also shared his thoughts on road safety.
