FIRST MIXED MASTERS  AMATEUR GOLF TOURNAMENT HELD IN JAIPUR ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Jaipur:  A women trio ex Defence Forces, the founders of 'Fairway Quest’- a Rajasthan Women’s Golfing group organised the First Mixed Masters Golf Tournament in Jaipur on 07-08 Mar 2025  to commemorate Inter-national Women's Day.

         The two day event was held with grace, elan & fervour to celebrate the empowerment of women which was highlighted with the dress code of day as shades of pink for the ladies on 8th March.

            The tournament was played for two days over 18 hole round competition, wherein 85 golf-ers between 40- 80 years age groups including men, women and veterans from Jaipur and various other cities participated in numerous categories.

            Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command graced the concluding ceremony to give away 3 prestigious memorial rolling trophies introduced this year namely Gp Capt (Late) Sanjay Dhankar Memorial Trophy for Overall Gross Winner Men , Mamta Misra Memorial Trophy for Overall Winner Women's category & Wg Cdr (Late) Prithvi Singh Chauhan Memorial Trophy for Winner 10 - 18 Handicap Category.

            Lt Gen Manjinder Singh Army Commander  South Western Command motivated women Golfers and congratulated the founders of Fairway Quest. Flt Lt Dr. Arpita Sharma, President, Diana Kaushik Secretary  and Mrs Rupali Tanwar  and wished them many more golfing tournaments especially for women & children Golfers.

            Lt Col Rakesh Lamba and Mrs Manisha Singh emerged overall winners in Men & Women category respectively, whereas Col Sher Singh Rathore was the winner in 10 - 18 Handicap category. Shubhra won the women's stableford category. Praveen Mishra and Gp Capt SK Agarwal were winners in other categories. Col Harish Khangarot (Retd) was the Overall Gross Runners Up.

 Maj Sandeep Siwach (Retd) & Mrs Neelam Singh won the Longest drive in Men & Women category respectively.

            Many eminent organisations supported the cause of Fairway Quest to include Shubhashish Homes as prime sponsor , Global Peace foundation , Nik Bakers,  Olive Planet, Reviva, Kaushik Aero Sports,  BSG Group of hotels Porvorim Goa, Pushkar Bagh Pushkar,  Dental Sewa clinic etc.
