Pacific Medical University Hosts Women's Day Seminar

Udaipur: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special seminar was organized at the Pacific College of Physiotherapy, under Pacific Medical University. Dr. Vinita Baghela, the chief guest, raised awareness about crucial women’s health issues, particularly PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disorder) and PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome).

During the seminar, Dr. Vinita Baghela provided students with comprehensive information about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of PCOD and PCOS. She emphasized that these conditions are increasingly affecting young women due to irregular lifestyles, poor diets, and mental stress. Dr. Baghela advised students to adopt a healthy lifestyle, engage in regular physical activity, and follow a balanced diet to prevent these conditions.

The seminar also featured greetings for International Women's Day from Rahul Agarwal, Chairman of Pacific Medical College & Hospital, and Sharad Kothari, CEO. Dr. Zafar Khan, Dean of the Physiotherapy College, shared his thoughts on the participation of women in both social and medical sectors. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about women’s health and encourage students to discuss health-related issues openly.

The event was attended by several faculty members, including Dr. Vinodini Vaharde, Dr. Hina Sharma, Dr. Neeta Shahi, Dr. Shipra Dadhich, Dr. Rajrani Sharma, Dr. Deepak Lohar, Dr. Farooq Mohammad, Dr. Adil Raja Ansari, Dr. Sonam Soni, Dr. Renuka Pal, Dr. Deepika, Dr. Vivek Menaria, Dr. Shubham Menaria, and Dr. Preksha Jain, along with a large number of students and staff.
