Mumbai : Director KD Sandhu's film 'Blindsided' is an intense action-thriller set against the backdrop of Kashmir. The story revolves around Jai, a military officer who loses his vision during a covert operation. As he begins a new life with his fiancée Jennifer, their happiness is shattered when Sofia and Rolex, members of Al Hasan Mizri’s syndicate, turn their world upside down.
The film's writer, producer, and director, KD Sandhu, has played the main villain in over 50 films. He started his Bollywood career in 1996 and has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi film industries. He has also collaborated with legendary Bollywood directors and renowned stunt choreographers.
Speaking about the project, KD Sandhu shared that 'Blindsided' has been produced under his banner Mickey Flix Entertainment Film in association with KD Arts Films International. The film’s lead actor Udhay Bir Sandhu is excited about the project, calling it a unique action-thriller that delivers a powerful message.
The movie has been filmed across Mumbai, Chandigarh, and various locations in Rajasthan, as well as international locations in Armenia, Greece, and Georgia. Apart from Udhay Bir Sandhu, the film stars Farha Khan, Akanksha Shandilya, Mohammad Umar, KD Sandhu, Chitra Sharma, Saurabh Agnihotri, Dharmendra Gupta, Dharmendra Pradhan, Gautam Basantani, and Akash Agarwal in key roles.
The film’s cinematography has been handled by Siddharth Akki Baiju, Arjun Kathuria, Pravesh Kumar, and Gautam B. Executive producer Gopal Sahu, music composers Ujjwal Roy Chaudhary and Manoj Kumar Bhaskar, and lyricist Mickey Flix Jhakarwala have contributed to the film. The action sequences are directed by RP Yadav and Deepak Sharma, while publicity is managed by Sanjay Bhushan Patiala.
'Blindsided' will be distributed across India by Implex Digital Theatrical and is set to hit cinemas on March 14, 2025.
