New Year Celebration and Maruti Rituals Witness Spiritual Fervor

 

Banswara, The Indian New Year was celebrated with grandeur at Shri Pitambara Ashram, near Vaneshwar Mahadev Temple, under the auspices of Gayatri Mandal Banswara.

The New Year welcome ceremony was organized jointly by Gayatri Mandal and Natwaranandi Welfare Foundation, with Sant Ramprakashji Ramsnehi Maharaj of Bada Ramdwara as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Gayatri Mandal's chief patron and former commissioner, Shri Dilip Gupta, while foundation patron Shri Rajendra Prasad Dwivedi attended as the special guest.

Devotees participated in the Maruti ritual, offering prayers to Lord Hanuman and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa collectively. They also exchanged New Year greetings.

Foundation representatives, including President Mahendra Trivedi, Secretary Rajneesh Gupta, Prince Patel, Dr. Priyanka Katara, along with Gayatri Mandal Vice President Manohar G. Joshi, Secretary Vinod Shukla, Advocate Yashpal Gupta, and other office bearers, welcomed and felicitated the esteemed guests. The event was moderated by Gayatri Mandal executive member Anant Joshi.

Commitment to Indian Cultural Values

In his address, Sant Ramprakashji Ramsnehi Maharaj emphasized the significance of Indian traditions and eternal cultural values. He stated that a renewed awakening towards these principles is a positive sign for the nation and the world.

Tree Worship Followed by Plantation Drive

Prior to the ceremony, Sant Ramprakashji Maharaj conducted a tree-worship ritual, reciting Vedic chants and nature-honoring mantras before planting a sapling, marking the launch of Natwaranandi Welfare Foundation’s "Greener for a Brighter Future" campaign.

All participants also worshiped the saplings and planted various sacred and medicinal plants within the Pitambara Ashram premises, pledging their commitment to nurturing and protecting them.

Pledge for Environmental Awareness

On this occasion, representatives from Natwaranandi Welfare Foundation, including Sajjan Singh Rathore, Ashok Shah, Rishi Mehta, Anit Sharma, Chanda Sita Damor, Ganesh Sisodia, Deepak Rathore, Nishant Sevak, Deshpal Singh, Satpal Singh, Dr. Naren Maida, Himani Joshi, Govind Agarwal, Nayana Jain, Chandanbala Parihar, Chandrika Rao, and Nilesh Upadhyay, performed floral tributes to the saplings and vowed to actively participate in environmental preservation.

Spreading Awareness Through Tree Plantation Drives

As part of this campaign, tree-planting awareness initiatives will be conducted regularly, encouraging people to plant at least one tree per month. Awareness programs will be organized to promote environmental conservation throughout the year.
