Udaipur: Marking a major milestone in Rajasthan's medical innovation landscape, Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Udaipur has inaugurated an Advanced Neurobiofeedback Therapy integrated with Electroencephalogram (EEG) and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI). The inauguration ceremony was led by Chairman Ashish Agarwal and Managing Director Naman Agarwal.
Distinguished guests included Prof. Anees Jukkurwala, Head of Neurology, Geetanjali Medical College, and Prof. Sushil Kheda, one of Rajasthan’s most senior psychiatrists. The therapy is headed by Prof. Praveen Khairkar, who has received specialized training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston.
This is the first time in Rajasthan that such an advanced therapy has been introduced. Neurobiofeedback Therapy empowers individuals to regulate emotions, cognitive functions, and behavioral traits through non-invasive techniques that analyze and improve brainwave patterns in real time.
The therapy has shown promising results in treating a range of conditions such as ADHD, depression, Parkinson’s disease, dyslexia, stroke recovery, migraines, stress disorders, PMDD, infertility, and addiction.
This cutting-edge facility will collaborate with BrainLab Atlanta and Schwartz Center, California, USA to further advance neurocognitive research. The launch marks the beginning of a new era in cognitive neuroscience and mental wellness in the region.
