Writers: The Real Emperors of Time
‘Srijan Samvaad’ celebrated poet Dr. Anand Kashyap’s latest collection with literary grandeur in Kota
The senior literary organization Sarjana and the Government Divisional Public Library, Kota, jointly hosted an enlightening symposium titled ‘Srijan Samvaad’, which was held with exceptional grace and intellect. The event centered around the recently published poetry collection “Neel Dhule Aayam” by eminent Hindi lyricist, poet, and sociologist Dr. Anand Kashyap.
During the session, renowned critics and scholars described literary creativity as a timeless motivational force and emphasized its crucial role in social upliftment. Sharing her thoughts, Dr. Usha Jha remarked, “Writers are the true emperors of time.”
Presiding over the session, former senior IAS officer and artist Shuchi Sharma praised writers as sharp observers of the pulse of the times. She stressed that authors should express their thoughts candidly for the betterment of society.
Before his poetry recitation, Dr. Anand Kashyap spoke about the value of poetic creation, asserting that poetry stems from a tradition beyond politics and plays a vital role in social transformation. He said, “Literature governs the realms of freedom and progress and must fulfill its responsibilities in accordance with its identity.” He then presented several songs and poems from his new book.
Veteran literary personalities like Dr. Narendra Nath Chaturvedi, Mahendra Neh, and Brijendra Kaushik also addressed the gathering.
The session was eloquently moderated by young poet Dr. Uday Mani Kaushik, while a vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava, Divisional Library President.
Co-convener of the symposium and Divisional Librarian Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava informed that Dr. Anand Kashyap, a retired professor from Rajasthan University and a distinguished poet of the country, participated in the symposium and performed live recitation of poems from his latest anthology “Neel Dhule Aayam”.
