Udaipur. Udaipur Rural District Congress Spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit informed that on April 13, 2025, objectionable and socially offensive flex banners featuring former Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot and All India Congress Committee General Secretary and former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sachin Pilot were found displayed by unknown individuals at the Pratap Nagar intersection. The incident has been termed highly unfortunate and deplorable.
In protest against this shameful act, representatives of both the Udaipur City and Udaipur Rural District Congress Committees visited the Pratap Nagar police station today and demanded strict and immediate legal action against those responsible.
Udaipur Rural District Congress President Kachru Lal Chaudhary stated that such acts disturb the fabric of a civilised society and are aimed at creating division. He urged the administration to swiftly apprehend the culprits and take stern action to send a strong message that such disgraceful acts will not be tolerated.
Udaipur City District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore added that by installing such hateful banners targeting respected leaders of the Congress Party, an attempt has been made to weaken the social fabric—something that will never be accepted. He demanded that the individuals behind this antisocial act be brought to light and face the strictest punishment.
Among those who raised the demand were Udaipur Rural District Congress President Kachru Lal Chaudhary, Udaipur City District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore, Udaipur Rural Congress Spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Rural General Secretary Laxmi Narayan Meghwal, Dr. Mahesh Tripathi, Bhupendra Chauhan, Dinesh Audichya, former councillor Madan Singh Babrawal, Gopal Nagar, Moti Lal Suthar, Laxmi Lal Soni, Chandraveer Gurjar, Bhanu Gurjar, and Mohammad Khan.
